About This Policy and Our Role

This Privacy Policy describes how liqcrates ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you use this website, purchase a product, create an account, subscribe to communications, or contact us.

For the store activities described here, liqcrates is responsible for determining how your personal information is used, except where a service provider independently determines its own processing. You can contact us about our data practices at service@rtuenpalt.com.

Personal information means information that identifies you, relates to you, or can reasonably be linked to you or your household, as defined by applicable law. The categories processed depend on your interactions and the services in use.

Reading this policy or using the website does not, by itself, provide consent for optional marketing or tracking. Where consent is required, it is requested separately.

02

03

Sources of Personal Information

  • From you: information entered at checkout, in account features, subscription forms, reviews, or communications.
  • From your device: website interactions collected through cookies, pixels, logs, and similar tools, subject to applicable privacy choices.
  • From Shopify and service providers: account, checkout, payment, fraud-prevention, technical, and support information.
  • From fulfillment and payment partners: payment outcomes, shipping updates, delivery records, and refund or dispute information.
  • From advertising or analytics partners: campaign and audience information where those services are used and the processing is permitted.
04

How We Use Personal Information

We use relevant information for these purposes:

  • Taking payment, fulfilling purchases, arranging delivery, and handling returns or refunds;
  • Providing order confirmations, tracking updates, and customer support;
  • Maintaining accounts and remembering requested preferences;
  • Protecting accounts, preventing fraud, investigating payment disputes, and securing the website;
  • Understanding site performance and improving products and services;
  • Sending marketing communications where permitted and measuring or personalizing advertising subject to applicable choices;
  • Keeping transaction, accounting, tax, and compliance records;
  • Responding to lawful requests and protecting or enforcing legal rights.

Information required to process an order must be provided for us to fulfill that order. Optional marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing. Any materially different use will be subject to the notice and consent requirements that apply.

05

Payments and Financial Information

Payment details are submitted through the checkout and the payment services you select. Shopify and the relevant payment provider process payment credentials under their applicable terms and privacy notices.

We receive the order and payment information needed to administer a transaction, such as payment status, billing details, transaction references, and any limited card information made available by the provider. Complete card numbers and security codes are not requested through our support email.

Payment providers may also process device, identity, and transaction information for authentication, security, fraud prevention, and their legal obligations.

Do not email full payment-card numbers, security codes, passwords, or one-time account verification codes.
06

Shopify and Enhanced Services

Our store is hosted by Shopify. We share information with Shopify to operate the storefront, checkout, accounts, payments, security, and related services. Shopify also processes visitor and customer information through the services it provides.

When Shopify Network Intelligence and related Enhanced Services are enabled, Shopify can combine information from interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify to support personalization, analytics, security, and advertising. Those services are subject to applicable consent and opt-out choices.

Shopify and its service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. For the purposes it determines independently, Shopify is responsible for the associated data processing.

Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy for Shopify's practices. You can also use the Shopify Privacy Portal to learn about or exercise privacy choices directly with Shopify. Requests about your liqcrates account or order information can be sent to us.

07

Recipients and Disclosures

We disclose information relevant to the following purposes and recipient categories:

  • Store and payment operations: Shopify, payment processors, and financial institutions supporting purchases, accounts, refunds, or disputes;
  • Fulfillment: suppliers or warehouses preparing orders, fulfillment partners, and carriers arranging delivery;
  • Technology and support: hosting, communications, security, fraud-prevention, and customer-support providers;
  • Analytics and advertising: providers processing technical identifiers, site activity, shopping events, and relevant matching information where their tools are used and permitted;
  • Professional and legal purposes: advisers, auditors, insurers, authorities, or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted to meet legal obligations or protect rights;
  • Business changes: parties involved in a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of business, subject to applicable protections;
  • At your direction: parties you ask us to share information with, or the public when you submit a review for public posting.

Recipients may process information on our behalf or, for certain services, for purposes they determine independently. Their role and the applicable notice depend on the service involved.

Private customer-support messages and attachments are not automatically treated as permission for public advertising. Separate promotional reuse is subject to the permissions described in our intellectual property policy and applicable law.

08

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We, Shopify, and relevant service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for the purposes below, depending on the features in use:

Where required, non-essential technologies require your consent before use. You can review or change your choices through the site's cookie controls where displayed, and contact us if you need help accessing them.

You do not need to accept optional advertising to place an order. Blocking all cookies through browser settings, including necessary cookies, can affect carts, login, or checkout. Clearing browser data or using another device may require you to set your choices again.

09

Advertising, Sale or Sharing, and Opt-Out Choices

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Disclosures involving advertising tools or Enhanced Services may nevertheless be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under certain privacy laws.

Where those features are used, relevant information can include cookie and device identifiers, browsing and shopping activity, and contact identifiers used for matching. Recipients include the advertising, analytics, and platform providers described above. Information used for matching may be hashed; that does not necessarily make it anonymous.

Where applicable, you can opt out of these uses through our privacy choices page or contact us with an opt-out request:

Where applicable law requires it, valid opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), must be recognized. Such signals generally identify the browser or device sending them; an account-level choice can depend on whether we can associate the signal with your account.

If a control is unavailable or does not work, email us for assistance. Opting out of targeted advertising does not stop information needed for order fulfillment, security, or other lawful essential purposes, and does not necessarily remove all advertising.

10

Marketing Communications

We use contact information for promotional communications where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails through the link in the message or by contacting us.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary, non-promotional communications about orders, payments, delivery, account security, or a support request. Consent to marketing can be withdrawn without affecting your ability to request support or complete an order.

11

Legal Bases Where Required

Where EEA, UK, or other laws require a legal basis, the basis depends on the purpose:

CONTRACT

Your Requested Services

Order processing, payment, delivery, account services, and support needed to perform a contract with you or take steps you request before purchase.

LEGAL OBLIGATIONS

Required Records and Responses

Tax and accounting records, legally required retention, and responses to binding legal requests.

LEGITIMATE INTERESTS

Security and Business Operations

Fraud prevention, service security, proportionate improvements, and establishing or defending claims, after considering your interests and rights.

CONSENT

Optional Activities

Marketing, non-essential tracking, or other activities for which consent is required. Legitimate interests do not replace consent where consent is mandatory.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it was withdrawn. Where applicable, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing.

12

Retention of Personal Information

We retain information for the period reasonably needed for its purpose, taking account of the information type and applicable legal requirements.

  • Order and financial records: the time needed for fulfillment, returns, accounting, tax requirements, disputes, and legal claims;
  • Account and support information: the time needed to provide the account or resolve inquiries, followed by any required retention;
  • Marketing and consent records: the time needed to administer choices and document compliance; a limited suppression record may be retained to respect an unsubscribe request;
  • Technical and analytics records: periods appropriate to security, measurement, and the applicable service's retention settings.

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted, de-identified, or otherwise securely disposed of, subject to necessary legal holds and backup-retention cycles. Contact us if you need information about retention relevant to a specific request.

13

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information, including access controls and the security features of the services used to operate the store.

No online transmission or storage system is completely secure. This does not remove our obligations to protect information or respond to security incidents under applicable law.

Protect your account credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use. Support does not require you to disclose your password or a one-time login code.

14

International Processing and Transfers

Your information may be processed outside the country where you live by Shopify, payment services, fulfillment partners, carriers, and other providers involved in operating the store.

Data protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your location. Where legally required, transfers must rely on an applicable adequacy decision, appropriate contractual safeguards, or another permitted transfer mechanism. Depending on the transfer, these can include standard contractual clauses and relevant UK transfer provisions.

You can contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your information and, where you have that right, a copy or description of them, with appropriate protections for confidential information.

15

Your Rights

Depending on your location and which laws apply to us, you may have rights to:

  • Know about or access information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Delete information, subject to lawful exceptions;
  • Receive a portable copy of eligible information;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent;
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, and exercise applicable rights concerning sensitive information;
  • Exercise applicable rights concerning solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects;
  • Appeal certain decisions on your request;
  • Complain to the relevant supervisory authority or regulator.

Some rights depend on the information and circumstances. For example, we may need to retain records required for tax, security, or legal claims even after a deletion request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Direct Marketing and Objections

Where applicable, you can object to direct marketing at any time. Other objections, such as those relating to legitimate interests, are considered under the requirements of applicable law.

16

Submitting a Request or Appeal

Email your privacy request to:

service@rtuenpalt.com

Describe the right you wish to exercise and provide a way to contact you. If relevant, include the email address associated with your account or purchase. Your country or state can help us identify the applicable requirements. An order number is optional, and you do not need to have made a purchase to submit a request.

For requests involving access, correction, or deletion, we may ask for proportionate information to verify identity and prevent unauthorized disclosure. We do not require identity verification for opt-out requests where the law prohibits it. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, subject to lawful proof-of-authority requirements.

We respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension. If we decline a request, we provide the reason to the extent permitted. Where an appeal right applies, reply to our decision or email us with the subject "Privacy Appeal" so we can review it and explain the outcome.

You may also contact the relevant regulator or supervisory authority. These rights do not depend on first raising the matter with us.

17

Children's Privacy

Our store is intended for adult shoppers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required. Higher age thresholds or additional consent and advertising restrictions may apply in some locations; those requirements are not waived by this policy.

18

Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may link to external payment, tracking, social-media, or other services. When those services collect information independently, their own privacy notices apply.

Review the relevant notice before providing information to an external service. Using a third-party provider does not remove our responsibility for disclosures or processing for which we remain responsible under applicable law.

19

Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, providers, data practices, or legal requirements. The revision date on this page identifies the current version.

Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change applies. Posting an updated policy does not automatically provide consent for a new purpose or remove previously applicable privacy rights.
